Englewood City Council Appoints David M. Pittinos to Board of Adjustment and Appeals
GREENWOOD VILLAGE – March 16, 2011 – The Englewood City Council recently appointed David M. "Merc" Pittinos, a shareholder at the law firm Burns Figa & Will, to its Board of Adjustment and Appeals.
Mr. Pittinos, who focuses on real estate and commercial litigation and advises clients in real estate transactions, will help the board review variance requests and appeals of Englewood's zoning regulations and building codes.
"This appointment provides a great opportunity to serve my community," Pittinos said. "I look forward to using my legal skills to benefit the City of Englewood."
The City of Englewood Board of Adjustment and Appeals is a seven-member, quasi-judicial board that hears and determines appeals from the denial of building permits; makes special exceptions to the terms of the zoning regulations; and authorizes ordinance variances.
