Biography
Julie M. Behrman is an associate at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C.. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial and real estate litigation. She also represents attorneys in disciplinary matters and lectures and advises attorneys on ethics matters.
Ms. Behrman is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado and before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Burns, Figa & Will, P.C., Ms. Behrman worked as an attorney for the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel, where she investigated and prosecuted attorney discipline cases.
Ms. Behrman is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association the Denver Bar Association, and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. She served on the executive board for the Colorado Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division.
During law school, Ms. Behrman was a staff editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review, worked in the Civil Rights and Disability Law Clinic, and received the Chancellor's Scholarship for her public service work.
Prior to law school, Ms. Behrman worked for five years in marketing, including as the director of marketing for a Habitat for Humanity chapter in the Philadelphia area and as an international pricing and product development analyst for a major pharmaceutical company.
