Bradley J. O'Brien is an Associate at Burns, Figa & Will. Mr. O'Brien brings his prior professional experience and skills to his practice of Real Estate, Commercial Litigation and Business Transactions law with Burns, Figa & Will. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. O'Brien was a Finance professional for nine years. For four years, he worked for commercial lenders in Chicago to finance commercial real estate across the country, including hotel, retail and office properties. He then spent five years with the current AT&T Communications, where he became an Associate Director in its Corporate Finance Division, led financial initiatives nationally and in Europe and Canada, and implemented merger integration initiatives for business unit presidents. Prior to joining Burns, Figa & Will, Mr. O'Brien practiced Commercial and Real Estate law for two years in Illinois. He gained trial experience by winning a bench trial on behalf of the local energy company and representing an automotive manufacturer in a dozen arbitrations before three-judge panels. Mr. O'Brien is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. O'Brien also holds Real Estate Broker licenses in Colorado and Illinois (inactive) and is an Illinois Registered Title Insurance Agent for Chicago Title. Mr. O'Brien is married to attorney Susan M. O'Brien. The O'Briens and their children are avid outdoors enthusiasts. They moved to Colorado in 2007 for more opportunities to hike, camp and ski in natural settings. Mr. O'Brien has achieved the Eagle Scout and Wood Badge distinctions and leads a Cub Scout Pack in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
